It’s been the Arcades in Japan for a while now, but today at the Tokyo Game Show, Namco Bandai formally announced the home release of the latest in the Tekken series, for the PS3 (which we expected) and the XBOX 360 (which perhaps we didn’t).

Details are thin on the ground at present, but as per previous Tekken games look for plenty of exclusive characters, modes (no more shoddy side scrolling, free roaming sub games please) and of course, the now obligitory online modes too.

It will feel strange though. Pressing quarter circle forward and ‘Y’ and not quarter circle forward and ‘Triangle’.

Which version, at this early juncture will you guys pick up?

For those of you UK folk who haven’t got or passed over the Orange Box when it was released back in 2007, you OWE it to yourself and to your peer cred to pick it up at the silly price of £11.99…
