First Two Installments Of Fallout 3 DLC To Hit Retail on May 29th on 360/PC

Yep the title pretty much says it all, but what it doesn’t say is the price: Amazon.co.uk presently have the pack down for £14.99, which is just a little more expensive than if the packs were to be bought from the Marketplace seperately.

People have been quick to point out the notable absence of the Broken Steel; the third (and possibly largest) DLC from the pack. As far as the third and final Fallout 3 DLC pack goes, I can quite easily see it heading to retail but in what form is up to debate. I can forsee it either coming out seperately at a cheaper price or bundled in together with the first two DLC installments in some kind of mega pack.

Annoyingly enough, news has only spread of the pack hitting shelves for the 360 and PC, with no mention of a PS3 version.

  1. I don’t think there will be a ps3 one fella, isn’t all DLC for fallout exclusive to Microsoft platforms? Not sure how much MS paid for the privilege mind, probably not as much as the $50million for the gta dlc i’d imagine.

    • Y’know mate, I don’t actually recall any MS exclusivity agreements with Fallout 3 DLC. I’m sure there are some, given the fact that the PS3 hasn’t seen any thing DLC-wise, but I simply don’t recall any press about it.
Unless of course it was one of those dirty under table deals 🙂

      • In fact, just googled up an old Gamespot article which said that they were exclusive to 360. But as always, exclusives are never *really* exclusives.
Expect to see a GOTY Fallout 3 pack for PS3 (and 360) by the end of the year I reckon.
