Nintendo Confirms Their New Home Console Will Be Unveiled & Playable At E3 2011
Confirmed via a short press briefing today, Nintendo will unveil their new home console codenamed Project Cafe, to attendees and the press at E3 2011, due to start on June 7th and conclude June 9th.
The official press release is below:
“We will show a playable model of the new system and announce more specifications at the E3 Expo, which will be held June 7-9, 2011, in Los Angeles.”
Many rumours have circulated concerning the machine as of late; with everything from the 360/PS3 busting specs, to improved motion control and all the way through to a controller with a built in HD screen that allows you to stream your games to it, we’ll finally separate the truth from the BS in June.
Amazingly enough, the console is also said to be fully playable at the show with a view to launching it next year. Plenty of detailed impressions of the hardware and software then I reckon.
This year’s E3 just got a LOT more exciting.
