Based on the popular videogame series, Resident Evil: Degeneration is an all CG movie due on DVD and Blu-Ray in the US on December 30th.

From what trailers have been shown, the flick won’t set the world on fire, but it’s actually faithful to the source material (unlike the live-action Resident Evil movies) and is essentially paramount to a 97 minute CG cut-scene (a popular description of the film made by people who have seen it).

Well, armed with the comforting knowledge that it can’t fail as badly as it’s live action counterparts and being a Resi fan, i’m quite looking forward to this, I just hope that a UK release date isn’t far behind or at the very least, the US Blu-Ray is not region coded (likely, due to the fact that most Sony Blu-Ray titles aren’t usually region coded).
