Realising just how stupid the incremental numerical convention would apply to the sequel of Army of Two, EA have officially confirmed the title for the sequel to 2008’s co-op ‘bromance’ shooter as Army Of Two:The 40th Day, AND also the platforms; 360, PS3 and PSP.

Taking their gold plated ‘blinged’ up weaponary and armour to the neon-licked streets and slums of Shanghai, Army Of Two: The 40th Day centers around a massive disaster which leaves the city in Chaos, and our two potty-mouthed mercenaries; Salem and Rios fighting for their lives to discover the cause and escape the bedlam.

Apparently boasting more co-op moves and strategic situations which create ‘a better and more organic co-op experience’, the development team of the 40th Day will hopefully also pay attention to correcting the god awful AI and the dismally uninspired plot that plagued the original game.
