Max Payne 3 Announced For PS3, 360 & PC – Due This Autumn

Holy crap. They actually pulled the trigger on it. After being stuck in the rumour mill for nigh on half a decade, Rockstar have finally confirmed that a third title in the noir slo-mo shootfest franchise is due for release as soon as this upcoming Autumn across all of our favourite formats.

With Rockstar claiming that Max Payne 3 ‘will take an older, more cynical (!) Max to places he’s never been before’, fans of the depressed homicidal detective will be surely be joyous at the resurrection many thought he wouldn’t have.

Whilst no details have been made available regarding the gameplay (other than that it will follow a similar format established by the previous titles) hopefully there will be more real soon considering how close we are to the release window.

Your move Stranglehold 2.
